Anti Graffiti Systems recently launched the National Graffiti Database. A system developed in co-operation with a number of agencies, including the Metropolitan Police and British Transport Police with the specific aim to eradicate this anti-social behaviour.

The National Graffiti Database allows the effective creation of a Graffiti Abatement Programme - a joint effort between a given community, its Public Works Division, Police Department, Community Development, and Parks, Recreation, and Community Services to eliminate graffiti vandalism. This allows an effective approach to targeting areas frequently targeted by graffiti vandals with the overall goal of removing graffiti as soon as it appears and provides (pictorial) evidence in support of prosecutions. Our aim is to provide a graffiti-free zone, by working with all stakeholders.

Graffiti is an expensive burden for a community, as its presence lowers property values, generates repair costs and can incite additional criminal activity.

Big Belly Solar Compactor

BigBelly Solar Limited is the home of the BigBelly Solar Compactor. The BigBelly is completely self-powered, instead of requiring an electrical connection, BigBelly uses solar power for 100% of its energy needs. The unit takes up as much space as the “footprint” of an ordinary street bin – but because of its compaction capability it can hold six to eight times more waste than the average street bin.

Increased capacity reduces collection trips, fuel costs and greenhouse gas emissions by 80%. The number of collections can be reduced by up to 80% and the BigBelly system eliminates the costs of servicing empty bins. The Wireless Monitoring System reduces the number of collections required, as the bin will send a text or email message when it needs to be emptied.
