Procurement and CompeteFor Seminar –
Ensure your business is finding tender opportunities and is ready to compete for London 2012 and other public sector contracts

There are still thousands of opportunities for SMEs to win business from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games as well as other public sector organisations. To ensure that your business is making the most of these opportunities and maximising your potential to win new contracts there are a number of procedures and processes that must be understood.

Business Events for 2012 would like to invite you to attend a free half-day procurement training seminar designed to provide specialised training to SMEs in the North West to help them understand the detailed procurement processes used by London 2012 and other public sector organisations.

This seminar will provide valuable information on finding tender opportunities, understanding the opportunities and will give an overview on the rules of the procurement process.

Detailed information will be given about business contracts soon to be announced via the London 2012 procurement portal www.competefor.com. New contracting opportunities will come from all 8 procurement categories: Artists, performances and events; sports; security; technology; services; transport and logistics; facilities management and catering and venues and infrastructure.
