How to use CompeteFor to gain competitive advantage

With only two years left until the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, new business related contracts are announced on a daily basis and published on the online procurement portal www.competefor.com
The Northwest Regional Development Agency and the Northwest Business Network would like to invite you to attend a FREE workshop that will give invaluable information on how to use CompeteFor to gain competitive advantage and to increase your chances of winning Games related contracts.
There are two sessions available:
- 10.00am - 12.30pm
- 1.00pm - 3.30pm
The aim of the workshop is to provide you with a:
- Demonstration and outline of the steps that buyers take to shortlist and award contracts through CompeteFor
- Better understanding of what the buyer is looking for from suppliers
- Review of the scoring process used through CompeteFor
- Outline of the work of the Buyer Engagement Team of London 2012; who are challenging and changing the buyer behaviour of private companies to improve the transparency and accessibility of contract opportunities from London 2012 and other projects
We will be joined by Chris Bell, Buyer Engagement Manager, London 2012 and Patrick Codd, Senior Olympic Opportunity Manager, London Development Agency who will take you through the above steps and answer questions that you have raised both about how the system works and what you can do to improve your chances of success.
This workshop will give you a better understanding of the London 2012 procurement process and will ultimately help you use CompeteFor more effectively to improve your chances of winning contracts that are available.
